Multitouch interactive urban and artistic device, 2011 Seconde Nature

CityMedia is a series of multitouch and immersive interfaces of a 3 by 2 meters sized, controlled by an iPad. These installations are the result of a common work between developpers, artists and culturals operators, in order to rethink the place of media in the city. The target is to made the use more human and sensitive.

Several applications hae been developped bu student and searchers of the Ecole Supérieure d’Art d’Aix-en Provence, the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design of Geneva, EnsadLab and Beaux Arts de Marseille. The projet is driven under the direction of the Atelier Hypermédia, by Douglas Edric Stanley, in order to experience a new kind of path : a living map of the city (access to informations, culture, tourism, but also artistic and ludic).
